Boys Programs Updated 02/20/2010

Evanston Youth Lacrosse Association offers only Boys-Rules lacrosse programs (girls are welcome to play), for Girls-Rules lacrosse we strongly recommend our friends at Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association www.iglax.org.

Lacrosse equipment:
Lacrosse requires generic athletic items: mouthguard, athletic supporter with cup, football or soccer style field cleats (not metal), as well as unique Lacrosse equipment: helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, and gloves.  Hockey helmet, shoulder and arm pads may be used, hockey gloves are safe enough, but may not be flexible enough.

Equipment MUST be obtained prior to the first practice, there will be NO equipment available at the fields, you son/daughter will not be able to participate without all the necessary equipment.

Our best 8th graders.  As members of the new North Shore Lacrosse League - Senior A Level, players and coaches for the Wolfpack Senior A team will expect a greater level of effort and commitment and from each other as we "take it up a notch" to compete at a higher level in preparation for competitive High School lacrosse.   To help achieve this goal, the A team will add "pre-game" Friday evening practices beginning April 9th. (6:00-8:00PM, at Chute).

Players who desire and qualify to play on Senior A are expected to commit to lacrosse as their "primary spring sport". (see EYLA's
Multi-sport Athlete Conflict Policy for more details)
