Beth Skidmore - EYLA Girls Program Director
Beth Skidmore began playing lacrosse in Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Lincoln - Sudbury RHS where she captained and led her team to win the League and the State Championships. In her senior year, Massachusetts instituted the Girls helmet rule, which has since been removed from the rule books but remains a hot topic in girls lacrosse. She was a dual sport athlete also playing and captaining her field hockey team. Beth went on to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she played D1 lacrosse for one year. Beth serves on the board of Foundation 65 in Evanston, the Board of ETHS Boosters and has coached softball for EBSA. She lives in Evanston with her husband and 2 children, one of which is an avid club lacrosse player and a future member of the ETHS Girls lacrosse team.
Annie Lesch - former EYLA Girls Program Director
Annie is going into her 8th year as Head Coach at Glenbrook South High School after receiving "Coach of the Year" for Illinois High School Girls Lacrosse Coaches in 2013. A native of Evanston, Lesch and a friend started the girls lacrosse program at Evanston Township High School as a student there in 1996. She then went on to play at Division III Kenyon College where she was a captain, All-Conference and All-Regional as a senior midfielder. After college, she was an assistant coach at Williams College for a year and then the Head Coach at Connecticut College in New London, CT for four years and then coached a year at Lower Merion High School in Philadelphia, before returning home to Evanston to start a family. She lives in Evanston with her husband and 3 young daughters.
Courtney Clark - 2014 3rd/4th and 1st/2nd Girls Coach, EYLA Board member
Courtney is from Ann Arbor, MI where she played 4 years of lacrosse and field hockey at Ann Arbor Pioneer HS. Courntey went on to Miami Univeristy in Ohio where she played 4 years of Div 1 field hockey from '96-'00. She was an Academic All America, assitant captain, and a winner of the Lenn Grimes Davidge award while at Miami. After graduation she returned to Ann Arbor where she was an assisant field hockey coach from '00-'02 at Ann Arbor Pioneer HS. From there she became an assistant lacrosse coach for Loyola's womens lacrosse teams. Courtney is the mother of 3 children.
